Hass is a subsidiary of Avocado Green Brands, which became a Certified B Corp in May 2020, with a high score of 126.2 — well beyond the 80-point minimum threshold (a median score for an ordinary business is 51.9).

Hass is one of only 27 fashion and apparel companies in the world to be Climate Neutral Certified — and the reason we received exemplary marks in Environment. We’ve set the bar even higher by going carbon negative. From powering our factory with wind and solar to using biodegradable, renewable, and recycled materials, we minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible. As a Climate Neutral Certified company, our entire carbon footprint is measured and verified in every step of our supply chain and we offset when needed, effectively achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
Our participation in 1% for the Planet and our Buy One, Feed One program helped us score well in Community. We want to use our platform as a vehicle for good on both a local and global scale. As part of this commitment, we feed one person in need with every purchase through our partnerships with City Harvest and Food Forward.
Our employees are our people and we treat them that way. That’s why we scored high in the Workers category.
